Willowbank Cavies is a small stud based in North Yorkshire, UK. We are breeders of Swiss, Lunkarya and Teddy guinea pigs. We sometimes have stock for sale, check out our 'For Sale' page.

Willowbank Cavies was started when our daughter acquired a crested guinea pig (Trixie) from our local pet shop. After spotting and buying another two rather unusual guinea pigs (Strawberry and Bramble) we sought out a local breeder to confirm that we had Rex guinea pigs...and so my interest in cavies was rekindled!

As a child, I kept a few cavies. My peruvian / abyssinian stock then was provided by Vic Bailey, he worked with my father and had the allotment next door.

We are Helen, Gareth and Charlotte and are members of NCC, Rare Variety Cavy Club, Durham & Northumberland Cavy Club and Lunkarya Breeders Association. We concentrate on breeding swiss teddies, lunkarya and teddies. We have a few pet cavies as well as dwarf lop rabbits in our shed.
